Every screen is doing one job.
The app is monochrome on purpose. Colour is never decoration — it only ever means state, so a red row is a problem and a green one is settled, every time. Every screen below is the shipped product, laid out at true device size.
A roster that stays true
Clubs, teams, resident groups, travel circles. Members join by invite or request, owners approve, and roles decide who can do what. The list is a list — not a thread you scroll to reconstruct.
- Custom roles and permissions, not just admin and member
- Invite links, join requests, and an approvals queue
- Bulk import and export — your roster is never trapped
- A per-org audit log of who changed what
Seven templates, one lifecycle
A match, a trip, a fundraiser and an AGM are not the same shape, so they don't share one form. Pick the template, publish, and the event walks itself through registration, the day itself, and settlement.
- Registration with fees, capacity and a real waitlist
- Reminders, calendar (.ics) and a public share link with a rich preview
- An ops dashboard for the day: who's coming, who owes, who's in
- A "wrapping up" state so settlement is a step, not an afterthought
The treasurer's book, kept for you
Collect membership dues and event fees through Razorpay. Every charge, refund and settlement appends to a ledger that is never edited in place — which is what makes it usable as evidence at the AGM.
- Append-only ledger entry on every movement of money
- Refunds handled in-app, recorded like everything else
- Absorb the transaction fee or pass it on — it's a per-org setting
- Balances and history that survive a change of treasurer

ExportCheck-in for one hand, in the sun, with no signal
The highest-pressure surface in the product, so it was designed for the worst conditions rather than the demo. Rows are full-width tap targets, the count is always on screen, and writes queue until the network comes back.
- Tap a name, or scan the member's QR pass
- Already checked in reads as amber — a state, not an error
- Search is pinned: finding one name in two hundred is the real job
- Undo is a swipe, never a second tap on the same target
The small screens that carry the day
The member's QR pass
Pure black on pure white whatever theme the phone is in, because scanners read contrast, not brand. Brightness goes up on its own while it's on screen.
Seven templates, filtered to you
A match, a trip and an AGM are not the same form. You only ever see the templates that make sense for the kind of organisation you are running.
Finding a club to join is absurdly hard. So we fixed that end too.
Everything above is for the people running a group. This part is for everyone else. Right now, if you move to a new city and want to find a badminton group, a running crew or a book club, there is genuinely no good way to do it — you ask around, you search a social network that wasn't built for it, and you end up in a group of 400 people where nothing happens.
Evento has a map and a directory of real organisations, filtered by what they actually do and how far away they are. Every one of them has a live roster and real events attached, so you can see whether the group is alive before you ask to join.
- Search near you by distance, on a map or as a list
- Filter by category, and save the filters you use often
- Switch between finding organisations and finding events you can just turn up to
- Request to join, or register for a single event without joining anything
What is built, what is being built, and what we have decided never to build.
Published in that order on purpose. Anyone can list ambitions; the useful half of a roadmap is the part that says what already works, and the part that says what we have decided never to do. Money movement sits in the third column deliberately — it is licensed, slow work, and putting it first would have meant months with nothing to sell.

In build order- 1 · Tasks and a readiness view Who is bringing what, who booked the hall, what is still open — assigned to a crew member, visible to the whole team, and rolled up into one answer to "is this event ready?" The single most requested thing on this list.
- 2 · A progress page for the client A read-only link the couple, the host or the sponsor can open to see where things stand — without an account, and without you assembling an update every Friday.
- 3 · Vendors and the outbound ledger The caterer, the decorator, the sound company — what they were quoted, what they have been paid, what is outstanding. Recorded, not routed: your money never passes through us.
- 4 · A page the vendor can use A link that lets a supplier confirm a deliverable without installing anything or creating an account.
- 5 · Event blueprints Save a finished event — its structure, its crew shape, its supplier list — and start next year's from it. This is the part that compounds.
Later
Once the first half pays for itself- Collecting money from attendees Registration fees and membership dues taken through Evento. This needs a payment-aggregator arrangement and the verification capacity behind it, so it is deliberately last — and it starts the moment enough customers ask.
- Dues that collect themselves UPI Autopay mandates for recurring membership fees, so nobody has to be chased. Blocked behind the item above, and worth the wait.
- Structured announcements Comments on the thing being discussed, and broadcasts out to the chat you already use. Deliberately not a chat of our own.
- An assistant that reads, not writes "What is unpaid, who hasn't confirmed, what needs me today" — answered from your own data, once there is enough of it to be worth asking.
See it against your own roster.
